Position Goal: Provide the District with assistance with the Operations Department projects. Assist with the district’s cleaning and maintenance initiatives including the cleaning of classrooms, corridors, offices, cafeterias, as well as doing outdoor maintenance.

Work Year: Seasonal/Temporary Position, FLSA- Non-Exempt, 6-8 hours per day

 

Physical Demands:     

Frequent twisting, reaching, grasping Lifting – between 30- 50 lb.

Manual dexterity to use tools and equipment

Repetitive movement of fingers and hands for cleaning surfaces

 

Sensory Abilities:       

Visual acuity to read correspondence

Auditory acuity

Ability to speak clearly and distinctly

 

Work Environment: Inside and Outside

 

Temperament:              

Excellent ability to work as a member of a team

Must be courteous and able to deal effectively with people Must be cooperative and congenial
